About Linden House

- How it happened... Linden House was founded in 2007 by Janet Uren -- a community actor who, as an alumna and through the generosity of Elmwood School, found herself with rare access to a wonderful stage and auditorium in Ottawa. The company produces an annual comedy from the 20th-century British stage, focusing on some of the very best writers of the time, such as Coward, Shaw, Maugham. In October 2013, the company is preparing to present Lloyd George Knew My Father by William Douglas-Home. It is a very funny play and also extremely poignant -- the story of an elderly lady who turns herself into a protester.
